  1. Keeping in mind Odysseus's postive and negative characteristics, what does he need to learn to return to society to be a good king, father, husband?
  2. How does he learn these lessons in The Odyssey?
  3. How are men and women characterized in The Odyssey?  What does this show about the values of their society?  Is this similar or different from our society?
